The POC-40 is an ultra-compact fanless controller, measuring just 52 x 89 x 112 mm. It is equipped with an Elkhart Lake Atom® processor and designed for applications in tight spaces, such as operational data acquisition, edge computing in harsh environments, and as a mobile gateway.
It uses the new Elkhart Lake Atom® x6211E dual-core processor with 10 nm technology, offering a 1.8 times performance improvement compared to the previous generation platform. Compared to the POC-200 series, the POC-40 offers a 1.9 times performance improvement at half the size. The controller features various generic I/O functions, such as two GigE, four USB 3.1 (Gen1)/USB 2.0 ports, and optionally isolated DIOs for data exchange and industrial control. Additionally, with its M.2 B-Key and E-Key slots, the POC-40 is capable of supporting the full range of 5G and Wi-Fi 6 wireless connections, enabling high field coverage and real-time data transmissions even for mobile gateway applications in the industry.
With its footprint equivalent to a PICO-ITX motherboard, the Neousys POC-40 is perfect as an ultra-compact powerhouse for projects with high-performance requirements. It is ideal for edge computing and gateway applications, has low power consumption, and, as a lightweight fanless controller, allows operation over a wide temperature range even in harsh environments.
