Neousys Expands Its Portfolio with Intel® Core™ Processors (Series 2) Featuring a Pure P-Core Architecture

Neousys Technology has expanded its portfolio of rugged embedded computers with support for the new Intel® Core™ Processors (Series 2), featuring an architecture based exclusively on Performance Cores (P-Cores). Support begins with the Nuvo-9000 Series, while additional platforms including the Nuvo-9160GC, Nuvo-9166GC, Nuvo-10208GC, Nuvo-10000, and Nuvo-9531 are planned as part of the company's future product roadmap.

Predictable Performance for Industrial Edge AI

Industrial applications such as machine vision, video analytics, and robotics demand consistent computing performance and straightforward system integration. While hybrid CPU architectures combine performance and efficiency cores, they can introduce additional complexity for workload scheduling, software validation, and real-time optimization.

Intel® Core™ Processors (Series 2) address these challenges with a pure P-Core architecture featuring up to 12 Performance Cores. By eliminating the need to distribute workloads across different core types, software optimization and validation become significantly simpler while delivering deterministic performance for industrial AI applications.

Nuvo-9000 Leads the Rollout

The Nuvo-9000 Series is the first Neousys platform to support Intel® Core™ Processors (Series 2). Designed for industrial automation, machine vision, and intelligent transportation systems, these fanless industrial PCs provide extensive expansion capabilities for demanding Edge AI applications.
