DIN-rail Industrial PC
What is a DIN-Rail PC or DIN-Rail-Mountable PC?
The short designation for these rails is now TH 35 (previously TS 35).
DIN-Rail Mounting of Industrial PCs
The more compact and lightweight an industrial PC is, the better it is suited for DIN-rail mounting. This minimizes the tipping moment, as seen in the POC-400 shown in the image.
The manufacturer's manual explains how the device can be easily snapped into a DIN rail, as shown in Figure 3.

Industrial PCs with DIN-rail mounting are typically compatible with both the deeper (15 mm) and the flatter (7.5 mm) variants of DIN rails.
Example: The Neousys POC-400

Selecting the Right DIN-Rail PC
Selecting the right DIN-Rail PC is a critical step to ensure that the specific requirements of your application are fully met. Different industries and use cases demand varying specifications and features, making it essential to clearly define individual needs beforehand. Key considerations include processing power, the number of interfaces, available space in the control cabinet, and specific environmental requirements such as temperature ranges, vibration resistance, or protection against dust and moisture.
At OMTEC, you’ll find a wide range of DIN-Rail PCs specifically designed for mounting on DIN rails. These models stand out for their compact design, durable materials, and reliable performance, even in demanding environments. Thanks to their flexibility, these devices are ideal for applications in automation technology, building management systems, or industrial manufacturing. Additionally, many models support fanless cooling, making them particularly low-maintenance.
