The POC-451VTC is an E-Mark certified ultra-compact vehicle computer designed for various vehicle applications, such as a mobile gateway, mobile surveillance, and passenger information systems. It utilizes the Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom® x6425E CPU, offering an 1.8 times improvement in CPU performance and a 2.0 times improvement in GPU performance compared to the previous generation platform.

The POC-451VTC features multiple M.2 and mPCIe slots for the installation of 4G/5G, Wi-Fi 5/6, CAN bus, and Edge TPU modules for modern vehicle applications. This allows the computer to extend wireless communication functions or provide AI inference functionalities within a compact space. To maintain high performance even in hot environments, the POC-451VTC uses a dedicated conduction-cooled heat spreader for high-performance modules to dissipate heat generated by the M.2 and mPCIe modules.

For network connectivity, the POC-451VTC offers three 2.5GbE ports, also with PoE+ functionality, which can power devices such as IP cameras or GigE cameras. The ports are backward compatible with 1000/100 Mbps Ethernet and work with most existing Ethernet devices. Additionally, the system features isolated DIO for sensor/actuator control and allows power supply via an 8 – 35 V DC input with integrated ignition control for in-vehicle deployment.

With its significant performance boost, 2.5GbE PoE+ ports, exceptional thermal reliability for data exchange, and inference applications, the POC-451VTC is an AI-capable mobile gateway solution that opens up new possibilities for onboard applications.
