Neousys Supports Teledyne FLIR ADK: Thermal Vision for Mission-Critical Edge AI

Neousys Technology has expanded the deployment capabilities of its waterproof NVIDIA® Jetson Edge AI system NRU-230V-AWP: The system now officially supports compatibility with the FLIR ADK™. This paves the way for automotive-grade thermal imaging in ADAS and autonomous vehicle scenarios, especially in defense and mission-critical applications.

Thermal Vision in Zero Visibility

Thermal infrared imaging offers clear advantages when conventional sensors reach their limits. In combination, objects can be detected day and night – even in smoke, heavy haze/fog and adverse weather conditions. The goal: robust perception for applications where misinterpretations are not acceptable.

Maximum Resilience for Critical Infrastructures

The combination creates a deployment-ready thermal AI solution, e.g. for defense and security vehicles, border protection systems or unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The aim is to make functions such as autonomous navigation, perimeter surveillance and tactical inspections more robust even under extreme conditions.

Edge Computing Power with Jetson AGX Orin™

At its core, the NRU-230V-AWP relies on NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ Industrial and delivers high AI computing power of up to 275 TOPS. Combined with the thermal camera module, this enables real-time inference on thermal image data – a key capability for autonomous navigation in low-visibility conditions.
