The Nuvo-8208GC industrial PC is the first edge AI GPU platform on the market designed for dual GPUs, equally suited for industrial applications and equipped with special features for automotive use. The platform is optimized for utilizing two high-end NVIDIA® RTX 30 graphics cards (250 W power each) and delivers a colossal computing performance of up to 28 TFLOPS when benchmarking with FP32 for new GPU-accelerated edge computing applications, such as autonomous vehicles, visual inspections, and surveillance/security technology.
The Nuvo-8208GC edge AI computing platform is powered by Intel® Xeon® E- or 9th/8th Gen Core™ CPUs (8 cores/16 threads), paired with the workstation-proven Intel® C246 chipset, which supports up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory (ECC or non-ECC). The system features two hot-swappable 2.5-inch drive bays for easy replacement of hard drives and SSDs, and provides optimal drive performance with its M.2 2280 NVMe socket. The front-accessible GbE and USB 3.1 ports (Gen1/Gen2) are protected from accidental disconnection with a screw-locking mechanism. In addition to the two x16 PCIe slots for the GPUs, the Nuvo-8208GC includes two additional x8 PCIe slots and one x4 PCIe slot, allowing for expanded functionality for data acquisition, analytics, or data exchange applications.
The Nuvo-8208GC features a brand-new power supply concept with input voltages ranging from 8 to 35 V DC, capable of meeting the significant power requirements of both 250 W GPUs. The platform includes built-in ignition control, allowing it to be installed in vehicles without further preparation and powered via the vehicle's onboard system. Mechanical features of the Nuvo-8208GC platform include Neousys' patented heat dissipation concept*, vibration-dampening mounting brackets*, and a pressure bar for GPUs (patent pending), ensuring the platform remains operational under extreme conditions and in various environments.
