The PCIe-NX156U3 is an intelligent image digitizer card powered by an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX SoM, featuring six USB 3.2 ports designed for utilizing AI functionalities in modern inspection applications. It delivers over 1024 CUDA cores, 32 Tensor cores, and two NVDLA® engines, providing 100 INT8-TOPS of AI computing power. Additionally, the card includes two USB 3.2 Gen2 and four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, each offering 10 Gbps (Gen2) and 5 Gbps (Gen1) of data bandwidth, along with up to 1500mA of power for connected USB cameras.
The PCIe-NX156U3 is designed to enhance existing 19-inch rack or commercial box AOI systems with AI inference capabilities and provide additional USB camera interfaces. The PCIe-NX156U3 has a standard form factor as a single-slot PCIe card with half-length and communicates with the host via the x1 signal of a PCIe Gen2 slot (x4). The AI functionality allows for reduced load on the host computer during deep learning vision computation, as processes such as image capture, preprocessing, and inference are all handled on the PCIe-NX156U3, requiring minimal resources from the host computer.
