The Nuvo-7250VTC is a rugged in-vehicle controller that uses Neousys' innovative supercapacitor-based uninterruptible power solution. With its Intel® 8th/9th Gen Core™ processors offering up to 8 cores/16 threads and 64 GB DDR4 memory, it delivers a performance boost of over 50% compared to the previous generation of all-purpose vehicle application devices.
The Nuvo-7250VTC features supercapacitor technology, allowing it to provide 2,500 watt-seconds of stored energy to the system, ensuring a safe shutdown in case of unexpected power outages. The Nuvo-7250VTC offers a variety of peripheral and connection options. Depending on the variant, it has 4 or 8 802.3at PoE+ ports, capable of delivering up to 25W of power to connected devices like IP cameras, as well as M12 (x-coded) connectors and screw-lock mechanisms for I/O connections such as Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and USB 3.1, ensuring extremely robust connectivity even in environments with shocks and vibrations. The controller is also internally expandable, with two M.2 and three Mini-PCIe sockets, allowing for wireless modules for 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, or a CAN module for wireless data exchange.
Additionally, an optional 4G mobile network module is available, certified for operation with major U.S. carriers, reducing implementation time and costs. The Nuvo-7250VTC also features an isolated CAN bus for in-vehicle communication, isolated DIO for sensor/actuator control, power supply via an 8 – 35 V DC input, and integrated ignition control. Furthermore, the device is compliant with E-Mark and EN 50155/EN 45545. Combined with the supercapacitor uninterruptible power technology, the Nuvo-7250VTC provides optimal data security and is perfectly suited for vehicle applications.
