The Nuvo-2610VTC series is a rugged Intel® Atom®-based in-vehicle computer with four M12 Gigabit PoE+ ports and a front-accessible 2.5-inch HDD tray that supports drives/SSDs up to 15 mm in height. It is designed for multipurpose applications such as on-road, off-highway, or railway applications, ranging from mobile gateways to data loggers and network video recorders (NVR).
With the Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom® x6425E quad-core CPU, the Nuvo-2610VTC series delivers 1.8 times the CPU performance compared to the previous generation. For robust Ethernet connectivity, the Nuvo-2610VTC series offers four Gigabit PoE+ ports via X-coded M12 connectors and USB 3.1 ports with screw locks. In addition to the internal M.2 2280 SATA SSD as system storage, the Nuvo-2610VTC features a front-accessible 2.5" HDD tray that accommodates a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD up to 15mm in height and 5TB in capacity. For internal expansions, there are two Mini-PCIe sockets for WiFi, GNSS, and CAN modules, as well as an M.2 3042/3052 B key socket for a 4G/5G broadband module.
To meet diverse in-vehicle deployment conditions, the Nuvo-2610VTC series comes in three variants. In addition to the Nuvo-2610VTC, the Nuvo-2611VTC features an embedded SuperCAP UPS to withstand power interruptions or voltage fluctuations in trains and maintain the system for a proper shutdown when power is cut off. The Nuvo-2612VTC includes a cassette module for an additional Gen3 x2 PCIe slot that can house an AI accelerator module with a custom thermal solution. With AI acceleration, the system becomes a fanless GPU computer for intelligent video analytics or a data logger with perception capabilities.
With the integration of an Intel Atom® x6425E quad-core CPU, fanless operation from -40°C to 70°C, a wide-range DC power input with built-in ignition control, and 4G/LTE or 5G-NR broadband connectivity, the Nuvo-2610VTC series is ideal as a rugged all-around in-vehicle computer for downstream vehicle applications in road traffic. With its M12 PoE+ connectivity and embedded SuperCAP UPS, the Nuvo-2610VTC series can withstand harsh environments with susceptible electrical equipment for applications in the general transportation network, such as trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, and railway vehicles.
