The NRU-52S series is a rugged, fanless edge AI computer designed for wide temperature ranges, offering up to 100 TOPS for AI-based video analytics applications with H.264/H.265 video encoding and real-time inference. Powered by an NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX/Xavier™ NX System-on-Module (SoM), it features NVIDIA® Ampere GPUs (Orin NX), CUDA cores, Tensor cores, and NVDLA (NVIDIA® Deep Learning Accelerator).
Leveraging the energy efficiency of NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX with only 25 W power consumption, the NRU-52S+ decodes up to 18 streams of 1080p video at 30 fps while delivering 100 TOPS inference performance. Its high AI performance per watt makes the NRU-52S+ an ideal solution for applications with limited power sources, such as robots, vehicles, or rail systems. Neousys' industrial-grade thermal design enables the NRU-52S+ to support edge deployments requiring wide fanless temperature ranges, such as roadsides, pathways, construction sites, agriculture, and dust-intensive factories.
The NRU-52S+ provides four IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ ports. Each port can supply up to 90 W of power for IP or PTZ dome cameras, supporting AI-based detection, tracking, or recognition applications. The NRU-52S+ also offers flexible expansion options, including two mPCIe sockets for NVMe storage, Wi-Fi, GNSS, or V2X modules; an M.2 key for a 4G LTE or 5G NR module with a dedicated passive thermal design; and a total of five antenna openings for mobile broadband. It also features hardware-configurable RS232/RS422/RS485, 1x GPS PPS input, 3-channel isolated DI, and 4-channel isolated DO for communication with external devices.
With integrated PoE++ connectivity, 100 TOPS inference performance, and numerous NVIDIA AI JetPack toolkits, the NRU-52S+ opens up new possibilities for real-time video analytics, including autonomous machines, security alerts, law enforcement, and V2X applications. Its fanless operation, wide temperature range of -25° C to 70° C, wide DC input range, ignition control, and 4G/5G connectivity make the NRU-52S+ an ideal solution for both indoor/stationary installations and edge deployments in harsh environments.
