The PB-9250J-110V from Neousys is a newly designed SuperCAP UPS module with a 110 V DC input, tailored for the rapidly growing railway applications segment. The PB-9250J-110V features eight 370F supercapacitors that store 9,250 watt-seconds of energy, providing valuable backup power to backend systems for seconds and minutes in the event of a power outage. Unlike traditional UPS systems with conventional batteries, supercapacitors enable operation across a wide temperature range and offer a long lifespan of up to 10 years. The Neousys PB-9250J-110V remains operational at temperatures from -40 °C to 70 °C, ensuring reliability over an extended period.
Thanks to Neousys' patented CAP energy management technology, the PB-9250J-110V offers advanced features such as real-time monitoring of energy consumption, over and under-voltage protection, as well as automatic and manual control of the main switch. The module automatically manages startup and shutdown processes, ensuring your system operates smoothly even with unstable power sources. Additionally, the module includes extra digital output channels to display system status, such as charging or discharging, and to control the main switch.
While computer systems are widely used in various railway applications, electrical stability remains a critical issue for rail vehicles, essential for system reliability. The PB-9250J-110V effectively protects computers and other equipment during power outages, such as when a train passes through a level crossing or switches tracks. Moreover, the EN 50155 and EN 45545 certified PB-9250J-110V can be easily installed alongside existing railway onboard electrical equipment or integrated into the power supply system.
