Der Nuvo-9166GC ist ein robuster Edge-KI-Inferenz-Computer, der durch Nutzung von Intels 12./13. Gen-Plattform und NVIDIA® L4 exzellente CPU- und GPU-Leistung bringt. Dank seiner hohen Leistungsdichte und seinen flexiblen Möglichkeiten zur Kameraanbindung ist der Nuvo-9166GC ideal für Multikamera-Anwendungen geeignet, die in Echtzeit reagieren, beispielsweise bei der KI-gesteuerten Sichtprüfung, bei Roboterleitsystemen und für autonome Maschinen.

Durch Unterstützung einer Intel® Core™-CPU mit bis zu 24 Cores/32 Threads bietet der Nuvo-9166GC fast das Doppelte an Leistung wie die 10./11. Gen-Plattformen. Das System unterstützt darüber hinaus NVIDIA® L4 für Anwendungen zur energieeffizienten KI-Beschleunigung, eine GPU der Datacenter-Klasse, die auf der NVIDIA® Ada Lovelace-Architektur basiert. Es bietet bis zu 30,3 TFLOPS an FP32- bzw. 485 TOPS an INT8-Rechenleistung und gibt damit neue Benchmarks für das Industrie-Edge-KI-Computing vor.

Der Nuvo-9166GC nutzt ein bewährtes Thermodesign, das einen zuverlässigen Betrieb des Systems von -25° C bis 60° C garantiert. Die CPU und das DDR5-Speichermodul werden bei dem System passiv gekühlt. Das System hat auch ein abgeschottetes patentiertes Kassettenmodul mit einem Lufttunnel für einen fortlaufenden Kaltluftzustrom durch den passiven Kühlkörper der NVIDIA® L4, was eine optimale Systemleistung gewährleistet. Hinsichtlich der Möglichkeiten zur Kameraanbindung hat der Nuvo-9166GC sechs GbE- und sechs USB 3-Anschlüsse, einen MezIO®-Erweiterungssteckplatz und einen zusätzlichen PCIe-Steckplatz zur Unterstützung von maximal vierzehn Industrie-GigE-Kameras oder achtzehn Industrie-USB 3-Kameras. Zur Speicherung all der Daten aus diesen Kameras bietet das System einen M.2 2280 Gen4x4-Steckplatz für eine NVMe-SSD mit Hochgeschwindigkeitszugriff für Lese- und Schreiboperationen bis zu 7000 MB/s sowie zwei 2,5-Zoll-SATA-HDD-/SSD-Laufwerksschächte für mehr Speicherkapazität.

Der Nuvo-9166GC ist mit seiner robusten Bauweise, dem weitem Betriebstemperaturbereich, serverfähiger KI-Inferenzleistung, leistungsstarker Hybrid-CPU und erweiterbaren Kamerafähigkeiten der perfekte Edge-KI-Inferenzcomputer für vielfältige KI-Anwendungen.

[1] The system is designed to tolerant 8V to 48V voltage fluctuation. The minimal nominal voltage is required with different system configuration. For system with CPU and L4 GPU, 12V or above nominal DC voltage is recommended. For system with CPU, L4 GPU and additional PoE+ PD and/or high-watt PCIe card, 24V or above nominal DC voltage is recommended.
[2] For sub-zero operating temperature, a wide temperature HDD or Solid State Disk (SSD) is required.
[3] For CPU operating at 65W mode, the highest operating temperature shall be limited to 50°C and thermal throttling may occur when sustained full-loading applied. Users can configure CPU power in BIOS to allow higher operating temperature.
