Der VMD 1000 ist ein 7-Zoll TFT LCD Bildschirm mit 4 drahtfesten Touchscreen-Sensor. Mit einem sehr hellen Display und automatischer Helligkeitskontrolle, er wurde für Fahrzeuganwendungen entwickelt. Er bietet auch USB- und Kartenleser-Funktionen. Diese praktischen Schnittstellen helfen den Technikern bei Wartungsarbeiten. Seine Frontplatte entspricht IP54, um industriellen Anwendungen gerecht zu werden. Der VMD 1000 kann über das 26-polige LVDS-Kabel perfekt mit allen Geräten der VTC-Serie kombiniert werden.
