The Nuvo-8108GC from Neousys is a robust edge AI platform in industrial PC design with special functions for use in vehicles. The platform is tailored for the use of an NVIDIA® high-end graphics card (250 W power) and offers a gigantic FP32 accuracy for new GPU-accelerated edge computing processes, e.g. for autonomous vehicles, visual inspections and monitoring / security technology Computing power of up to 14 TFLOPS.
The Neousys Nuvo-8108GC works with Intel® Xeon® E or 8th / 9th Gen Core ™ CPUs (up to 8 processor cores / 16 threads), together with the Intel® C246 chipset that has been tried and tested on workstations 128 GB DDR4 memory (ECC or non-ECC) supported. The system has an internal SATA connector for a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD drive and a hot-swappable 2.5-inch hard drive bay for easy replacement of the drives. There is also an M.2 2280 NVMe socket for fast read and write access. With the GbE and USB 3.1 ports (Gen1 / Gen2) accessible from the front, the cables are protected against being pulled out with a screwed locking mechanism. In addition to the x16 PCIe slot (8 lanes) for the GPUs, the Nuvo-8108GC has two additional x8 PCIe (4 lanes) and one x16 PCIe slot (8 lanes), which can be used for applications Data acquisition and analysis or for data exchange can be expanded.
The Nuvo-8108GC has a brand new concept for power supply with input voltages from 8 to 35 V DC, which is also able to meet the substantial energy requirements of the 250 W GPU. The platform has a built-in ignition control and can therefore be installed in vehicles without further preparation and supplied with power via the vehicle's on-board system. The mechanical peculiarities of the Nuvo-8108GC platform include the patented heat dissipation concept from Neousys *, vibration-damping bracket clips * and a pressure bar for GPUs (patent pending), which keep the platform ready for use even under extreme conditions and in different environments. The Nuvo-8108GC is Neousy's solution to the ever increasing need for TFLOPS on industrial GPU platforms.
