The Intel Core i7-2600 processor is based on the new 32nm Sandy Bridge architecture and is a native quad-core CPU with integrated graphics core (Intel HD 2000). The integrated memory controller supports DDR3 memory up to 1333 MHz and the improved "Dynamic Turbomode" can briefly boost the clock speed by up to 30% above the maximum value at low system temperatures (such as after computer start-up). The integrated GPU runs at 850 Mhz and shares the common, 8 MB L3 cache with the CPU. This is the tray version of the processor. The scope of delivery therefore only includes the CPU and protective packaging. A suitable cooler must therefore be purchased separately.
